Whatever happens, happens for a reason!

ACTION: run very very hard!
REACTION: Bukit Subang Hash run top 10, chinaman no. 2

After joining Petaling Hash House Harriers aka PH3 for 1 year +, I'm now able to keep myself running for 90% of a 10km+- run. Now, I'm able to keep myself inside the front runner group throughout the whole run, and I've broke several checks.

2 weeks ago, I went for a run in Penang - Penang Rainforest Hash Challenge, after this run I've got myself very good excuse to rest my foot and body.
1st week, a rest week for myself after done a 28km run in 6 hour 56 mins.
2nd week, a very good old friend wedding. Must attend!

Trained really hard for this result! Training continues on 2013! Hope more friends will join running and hiking in the future, see you on field!

Why?

Why waterleg?
Cos this is the way the CyberCafe cashier call me. In cantonese is "sui keok" which means lousy fellow.

Why TcChang ?
This is to keep in memory that what I've missed throughout the years!

Why I love running?
This is to keep me tired and during the run you won't know my tears are rolling.

Why I like CS?
CS always let me get back my confidence!

Why I buy expensive shoe?
I believe a good pair of shoe reduce the chance of getting injured and better care of my foot!

Any why you wanna ask?

Whatever happens, happens for a reason!

1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.

3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.

5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.

6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

Rainforest hash challenge

After few weeks of training at Gunung Nuang, at last I went to challenge my limit again. The last time was the ballbreaker hosted by Fullmoon hash 24km. This time my aim is to complete the run.

Friday I only have 4 hours sleep, can't sleep well. Saturday morning we departed to Teluk Bahang to stop our car then we took the bus to Balik Pulau. A total of 160 plus runners joined this event.

Around 0815 we started the run. On the first 5km I think I did quite well, able to keep myself in the front runner group. After running like 4 hours I reached the last water point which was at the 18km. Totally exhausted, very tiring run, but still have to keep it on.

The last hill was the so called Laksamana hill, I guess is the highest hill on penang island. Sometimes is not the height that kills people is the tough terrian who does it. Walk until I can't feel my leg, end up is my mental that brought me our from the trail.

This is the first time I feel like my heart is going to jump out from my mouth. Spend another 3 hours to complete the other 10km. End up I spend 6 hours 56 mins to complete the 28km life killing run.

Time to start prepare for the mount kinabalu day trip, and then the ultra run 100km. Plan to join more outstation long run to improve myself in more skills and tricks on running. Need to start train my core and calf. Then improve my core and the endurance for the 100km.
